About the platform

Is GoLoko a menu app for restaurants?

Yes and no, depending on who's looking. For you, yes — it's a full web app for managing a restaurant menu: you add products, categories, prices, images, allergens, translations. You use it daily from the browser, on any device. For your customers, no — they don't download anything. They scan the QR code at the table and the menu opens directly on their phone.

Do my customers have to download an app?

No. GoLoko runs entirely in the browser. Customers scan a QR code or follow a link — the menu opens instantly on their phone. No app store, no installation, no hassle.

Can I use GoLoko alongside Tazz, Wolt or other delivery platforms?

Sure — with the Pro plan you can receive home or office orders just like most platforms on the market. In the beginning, GoLoko and delivery platforms complement each other. The advantage is that through GoLoko you don't pay commissions on orders. Over time, as more and more customers choose to order directly through your interface, you might discover that dependence on other platforms naturally decreases. Important: we don't deliver. We provide the menu and ordering platform. You organize deliveries with your own team.

Can I add GoLoko to my existing website?

Free plan: technically yes, you can put a link to your GoLoko menu, but we don't see a clear benefit. This plan is meant to serve the location internally, with QR codes that display the menu to customers seated at the table. A link on the website doesn't bring real value.

Pro plan: highly recommended. This plan provides you with a dedicated page that works like an online shop, where customers can order food for home or office delivery. As long as you can fulfill deliveries, it would be a shame not to put the link on your website, social media, and printed materials.

Setup & subscriptions

Do I need technical skills to set it up?

The skills needed are minimal — knowing how to fill in a few online forms, upload images, tick options. Anyone on your team with basic experience operating a website can do all the configuration with their eyes closed. On top of that, we provide full documentation, to make things even simpler.

How long does setup take?

Free plan: No invoices are issued, no payment to wait for, so no dead time. You create the account, fill in the restaurant data and you can start posting your first products in minutes.

Pro plan: After paying the first proforma invoice and sending us proof of payment, your account is activated within one hour. For faster activation, we recommend sending the proof via WhatsApp. Depending on availability, there's a chance we activate your account even on non-working days. From that moment you can start personalizing, at your own pace. It can take a few hours if you have the info ready electronically, or a day or more if you copy it from the printed menu, photograph products, etc. When everything looks good, you generate the QR codes directly from the admin area, display them on the tables, and from that moment orders can start coming in digitally.

Is the plan per company or per location?

Subscriptions are granted per company AND per location, cumulatively. In settings you enter both the legal company data and the location branding shown to the public. A company can have multiple restaurants — they may have different names and a lot of public confusion can arise, which we try to avoid.

What happens if I cancel one of the paid plans?

You keep the paid plan and all its features until the last paid month expires. After that, the account automatically switches to the Free plan, with all the limitations specific to that plan.

Cost & support

Really no commission on orders?

No, not in our current business model. In the future, things might change depending on how the market evolves — but our priority is to keep offering more and more tools for the same fixed subscription, not to introduce commissions. Use the Free plan with confidence, with its specific limitations, or go for the Pro plan. Either way, whether you have 10 orders per month or 10,000, the price stays the same.

What do I do if I have a problem or need help?

There are several levels of help. First, if the issue is that you don't know where to manage something, use the documentation in the panel with confidence. If that doesn't solve it, you can reach our support team and we'll be happy to reply, prioritizing paid plans. Regardless of plan, no questions will be left unanswered. Last but not least, if the issue is functional and impacts orders, you'll flag it to our support team and we'll make sure to fix it as quickly as possible.
