1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device (computer, phone, tablet) when you visit them. They are widely used to make sites work more efficiently and to provide information to the site's owners.

2. What cookies we use

This policy covers cookies set both on the marketing site go-loko.ro and on the public menu pages of restaurants (GoLoko clients) hosted on our servers.

2.1 Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for the platform to work and cannot be disabled.

2.2 Analytics and performance cookies

We use third-party services to understand how the site is used and to improve the user experience. These cookies are set only with your consent.

2.3 Marketing cookies

We use tracking pixels to measure the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns. They are set only with your consent.

2.4 Affiliate cookies (on click in the HoReCa marketplace)

The Platform includes a HoReCa marketplace in the Client (restaurant) admin panel, available on all plans. When the Client clicks on a product link in the marketplace, they are redirected to a partner store (Profitshare, eMag, Booking or other affiliate networks). The partner store may set cookies in the Client's browser for affiliate commission attribution.

These cookies:

• Are set by the third party (the partner store), not by GoLoko
• Are activated only when clicking on a marketplace link — they are not set automatically while browsing GoLoko
• Cannot be controlled directly through our consent banner (they are set by the third-party domain at the moment of redirect)
• Can be disabled from your browser settings or by blocking third-party cookies at the partner site level

The marketplace is visible exclusively in the Client's admin panel. End Customers (those ordering food) do not interact with the marketplace and are not exposed to these cookies.

3. What data we collect from devices

Through the analytics services mentioned above, the following technical information may be collected automatically:

• IP address — anonymized (last octet masked) in Google Analytics
• Browser type and version (e.g., Chrome 120, Safari 17)
• Operating system (e.g., Windows 11, iOS 17, Android 14)
• Screen resolution and device orientation
• Browser language
• Referring page (where you came to the site from)
• Pages visited and time spent

Purpose: This data is used exclusively to understand how the site and app are used, and to improve the user experience. It is not used to personally identify visitors.

4. Your consent

On your first visit to the site, you'll see a cookie banner that lets you:

• Accept all cookies — necessary + analytics + marketing
• Accept only the necessary cookies — just the ones essential for the site to work (no tracking)

You can change your preferences at any time. Non-essential cookies are not set without your explicit consent.

5. How to disable cookies

In addition to the choice in the site banner, you can manage cookies directly from your browser settings:

• Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
• Firefox: Settings → Privacy → Cookies
• Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
• Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Heads up: Disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect how the platform works (for example, signing in to the admin panel).

The third-party services mentioned (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, TikTok) have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to read them:
